If you live in Toronto you’re aware of how cold the city can get. And by cold I mean say goodbye to being outside until April. However, in an effort to get people out of their houses a couple of events have been created. One of these events is the Ice Breakers Exhibit at the Water […]
This past weekend we drove up to Kingston to check out Lumina Borealis at Fort Henry. We arrived a bit early so we decided to warm ourselves up by walking around town and got blessed with this gorgeous winter sunset. Sometimes being an over-planner works out because we also had enough time to check out […]
While Christmas and New Year’s may officially have been over for a few weeks (read a full month) there’s nothing stopping us from reminiscing on the lights and decorations (while secretly looking forward to next Christmas already!). Christmas in Toronto is a full month-long event with dozens of markets and festivals and street decor as far […]
Every year the City Hall in Kitchener transforms into a German style Christmas Market complete with food, carolers, ice skating and lots more. This year marked the 20th anniversary of the event and it did not disappoint. City Hall was decked out with vendors, food, Christmas decorations and entertainment to convince even the meanest Grinch […]

Last weekend the beautiful Aga Khan Museum hosted the second annual Curry Fest! The event lasted a few hours and included admission to the permanent gallery which was followed by a few hours of food and more food. The event featured a number of popular restaurants from around town. Take a look at the pictures […]

Keeping with the pattern of super packed days after doing Upper Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend we headed to Utah to hike Zion National Park! It took us about 2 hours to there from Page, Arizona (where Horseshoe Bend is) and we were definitely ready to stretch our legs.
I’ve finally made the move over to my own domain so please accept my apologies for the delays in posts. I was (and still am) trying to figure out how to make this thing work so bare with me for the next week or so while I get it under control.
